Psychotherapist
I am a qualified Reiki Master Teacher, Sound Therapist and Life Coach (specialising in Holistic Health and Wellness) as well as a Registered Nurse. I have spent a number of years working in the Emergency Department before choosing to focus on other holistic and caring ventures. The combination of the all of these modalities has given me a wholesome insight into the physical,
spiritual and mental health aspects of wellbeing, and I focus on all aspects during my sessions.
Reiki Healing is all about rebalancing and reconnecting to our authenticity so we can positively improve our wellbeing. It is an ancient Japanese healing therapy which connects to the universal energy. During Reiki healing therapy, hands are placed on or just above specific areas of the body to aid rebalancing. This promotes healing, relaxation, and supports reducing stress and anxiety. There are no contraindications for Reiki therapy so everybody can benefit from it.
Sound Therapy is a beautiful modality that uses the healing properties of sound frequencies. Using sound for healing is an ancient practice that harnesses various sounds and vibrations to enhance physical, mental and emotional wellness. Sound waves can assist in balancing the body's energy, alleviating stress, and promoting relaxation for the mind, body and soul. The gentle, rhythmic tones of instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, and chimes can support you to find a peaceful meditative state, whether through guided sessions or personal exploration, sound therapy provides a serene experience that nurtures the spirit and cultivates a sense of inner peace.
Holistic Health and Wellness Coaching is a type of coaching that focuses on supporting your overall wellbeing including mind, body, and spirit, rather than just treating one part of you. A holistic coach works with you to improve your health and wellness in a way that looks at the big picture. It's about helping you make balanced, healthier choices that align with your whole life, so you can feel your best in all areas.
The sessions last between 30 and 60 minutes, and clients often finish a session more focused and calmer.
