I have considerable experience working with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, body image issues and eating difficulties, addiction, OCD, work-related stress including bullying, relationship and parenting problems and childhood trauma.
I use an integrative approach which means I draw upon a number of models I have been trained in. I primarily use Schema Therapy and CBT and am informed by psychodynamic theory.
I have worked in a number of NHS trusts, charitable organisations and specialist facilities for addiction and domestic violence. For the past 7 years I have worked solely in private practice.

I am a highly experienced Psychologist and as such, am able to draw on a range of skills and evidenced-based, NICE recommended therapeutic approaches to best meet your needs. I have particular specialism in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). I am a Clinical Psychologist with 11 years of experience working across NHS and non-NHS mental health services. I am currently working at a National and Specialist clinic within the South London & Maudsley NHS Trust, providing specialist assessments and evidence-based treatments to neurodivergent children and young people who experience a range of mental health difficulties and are at significant risk to self, others and from others.

Training, qualifications & experience
I completed my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London, and prior to this a Master’s degree in psychology in Italy.
Since 2013, I have worked across a wide range of settings including adult mental health, generic and specialist child and adolescent mental health (CAMHS), older adults, adult learning disability services, acute inpatient services and adult forensic community and secure services. In my NHS role, I continue to work closely with multidisciplinary mental health professionals, supervise junior colleagues, and provide consultation/training across settings.
Post qualification, I have gained additional specialist training and experience in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and AIM3 (Assessment Intervention and Moving on - a therapeutic framework used to help young people who engage in Harmful Sexual Behaviours). Furthermore, as part of my training in Clinical Psychology, I have learnt a wide range of clinical psychological models, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and trauma focused therapy.
I have experience working with both adults and young people who experience a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, low mood, abuse, trauma, low self-esteem, and school refusal (in children).
